And that's all she wrote! I should have the print edition off to the presses later this week (hopefully), so watch this space regarding its release. This is crazy. Creating this comic has been such a huge part of my life for so many years--I first came up with the idea around 2002 or 2003, wrote the script throughout 2008-2009, and added the final touches to this last page just a few days ago. That's a whole lotta evenings and weekends. I couldn't have done it without encouragement and input from folks like Alex Kennedy, James White, Sean Jordan, Mike Holmes, Samantha Robertson, Ben Jeddrie, and, of course, Calum Johnston. I would also be remiss if I left out all my Strange Adventures co-workers over the past few years--Tiina Johns, Rachelle Goguen, Jay Aaron Roy, Nathan Boone, Kate Leth, Shawn MacLeod, and Natalie Lavoie, all of whom had to endure my fussing and fretting over this project (often while I was supposed to be working). Thanks also to my Mom and Dad for always encouraging me to make comics for as far back as I can remember. Extra super duper thanks to my girlfriend Hillary Titley for putting up with my marathon drawing/colouring sessions, as well as listening patiently while I jabbered on about fictional pro wrestlers. Hal-Con!

Just a quick post to let folks know I'll be appearing at Hal-Con this weekend here in lovely windblown Halifax! I'll be signing and selling (hopefully!) copies of SLAM-A-RAMA #1-4 and SCENESTER: THE INEVITABLE COLLECTED EDITION at the Strange Adventures table (look for us in the autograph area) from 3:00 to 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 12, AKA today. I'll also be appearing at a few panels/workshops--I'll be moderating the "How I Got Into Comics" panel this morning at 11:00 AM, and I'll also be appearing at the "Making Webcomics" workshop Sunday the 13th at 4:00 PM. And with that, what is essentially the "first issue" of SLAM-A-RAMA comes to an end! For everyone who already read this stuff in black-and-white form as THE SQUARED CIRCLE #1, thanks for your patience. I wanted to get this stuff up on the web in colour at a somewhat leisurely pace while I finished up "issue two", so I'd have a nice backlog of material. This Friday, I'm going to post a few bonus illustrations--the first issue's original published cover, and a brand new cover illustration for issue two, and then Monday...ALL NEW MATERIAL! The pages that would have comprised the second issue of THE SQUARED CIRCLE are all finished and coloured, and I'm going to start posting them next week! I'm hard at work on "issue three", so there's plenty more Eighties wrestling mayhem on the way! Thanks for reading, and tell your friends! Remember, next Monday, it's all new!
